If I built a... series of books by author/illustrator Chris Van Dusen. We've compared each story to the others in the series, analyzed the character's designs and how he finds solutions to problems with his innovative imaginings. We've also dabbled a little in our own designs imagining what we would do if we built a school, which happens to be the subject of the last book we will tie up the series with.
