3rd Grade Art

In addition to teaching the Enrichment Program, I teach a few of the art classes. Here are some recent projects we've done. We studied landscapes from around the world and right here in Vermont, learning how to decode them to begin to understand the lives of the people who live in them. These landscapes we created help tell our stories.

We've also made our own stencils and used chalk pastels to make a series of pieces experimenting with scale, complimentary colors, contrast, color combinations, page orientation, breaking the frame, technique & composition.
