Lights. Camera. Action!

While much of the Enrichment Program will be centered around outdoor learning this year, part of our indoor focus (inclement weather days) will be centered on cameras and photography. We are collecting as many cameras as possible, in hopes that I can have at least 1 for each learner, kindergarten through 4th grade, to dissect. All kinds of cameras are welcome. It will be fascinating to see how technology has evolved and how it has remained the same. In designing this learning experiences, a shared focus across the grades will allow a sense of community in a time of social distancing. The hope is this will be an engaging opportunity to explore ideas of science, such as light refraction and chemistry and how they intersect with history, communication, and concepts in art such as composition and contrast.

If you have cameras you are willing to donate there is a dark blue, purplish bin next to the main entrance of the school to deposit them in. To reiterate, these will be taken apart and not returned.

Thank you in advance!
